We have not blogged for almost 2 and 1/2 years. I can't believe it has been so long! A lot has happened! Brandon is just finishing up his masters thesis. It's a frustrating process for all of us but SOMEDAY he will be done! Carson just turned 3 a couple weeks ago. He is such a smart, feisty, occasionally ornery boy (what 3 year old isn't?)! He says the funniest things so I'm going to try to put in a quote of the week from him because he is hilarious! Last week he said "Mom, can we take off these night time unders (pull ups), when they get pee in them they wedge me real hard!" So funny! Abby just turned 9 months old. She is the sweetest addition to our family. She is such a great baby! Hardly ever cries and always smiles. We had a really hard month a few months back. Brandon was stressed with school, and he had knee surgery. I have been having some kidney problems and had to have a biopsy. I had to stay in the hospital over night. This all happened in about a 3 week period. We were so exhausted and stressed to the max. Abby was like a little ray of sun shine! She loves Carson. Her faces lights up whenever he comes around. He loves her sometimes:). Not when she gets drool on his toys and especially not when she gets a hold of his blanket.

We are really enjoying the fall! We went to the Red Barn in Santaquin. Went on a hay ride and picked out our own pumpkins. Carson carried around a little pumpkin with a rotten spot on it....We couldn't talk him out of it because he said "it is just about my size." After we picked out pumpkins, we had ice cream and cider. Such a great night!

Highlights From our Last Year

December 2010. Disney World! We were 29 weeks pregnant with baby girl. Carson was not into pictures this trip. He wasn't looking in half of them! He loved Pirates of the Caribbean, Dumbo, Snow White and The Lion King show. We had so much fun! A trip to remember!

January 14, 2001. 5 pounds 10 oz. 10:36 pm. Abby Jean Taylor. She was pre-mature (technically). I was 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant. My kidneys were going to crazy so my doctor decided it was time for Abby to come. I had gotten steroid injections for her lung development so she didn't even have to go to the NICU. It was such a relief to finally have her here! Carson did great with her! She was such a great baby! She made the adjustment as easy as it could be.

Carson's best friend Kaysia Pratt. They lived right next door to us. They got along most of the time (with occasional crying and screaming). Jen (Kaysia's mom) and I spent a lot of time together. They moved in September and we miss them so much! I can hardly think about them without crying. I was talking about them the other day and Carson told me "It's okay mom. They will be home soon.." Then I started to cry because they wont! Love them and miss them so much!

This girl didn't take long to fill out. She was the 2nd percentile in weight. At her 6 month she was 21 pounds and the 96 percentile. She loves food! I love her rolls!

Yes, I have been neglecting our blog!! A lot has happened in the last few month. Carson has grown 6 teeth, started to crawl, and he pulls himself up onto anything and everything! He is 9 and 1/2 months old now and we can't believe it! He is such a happy little boy and he loves to get into mischief. Brandon and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. Can't believe it's been three years (the best years)!
This is the 4th of July. We kept Carson up way past bedtime to watch the fireworks. He fell asleep about 5 minutes before they started and he slept through all of the noise.
He loves his toys! These are my favorite jammies! He looks like such a big boy in them!
Don't mind the drool all over his vest...:) Isn't he a stud! So handsome!
Happy 3 years to us! We left Carson with my parents so that we could go on a little vacation. We went to Vegas for a couple of days! We had so much fun, but we missed our boy! Hope everyone is doing well and having a good summer!!

Sorry we haven't updated for so long! I keep forgetting! We are doing so great! I can't believe how blessed we are and how happy we are right now. Carson is 6 months old now. He is getting his first tooth and he is sitting up all by himself. It's so cute to see him sitting up playing all by himself! We love him and can't imagine what we did without him!So, for Carson's 6 month celebration. We put him in his chair and let him play in bananas. He had a lot of fun making himself messy!
I love this picture! He loves to watch the dogs. He laughs and laughs at them and it is the cutest thing!
Yay! Congrats Brandon! Brandon got accepted into BYUs Masters program! Yay, he starts in May and two years from this July he will be done! I love you honey, I'm so proud of you!

He loves to smile!! His little laugh and smile are so contagious. I don't mind when I hear him in the morning because I know when I go in his room I will get the cutest smile from him!

Carson just keeps getting bigger and cuter! He weighed 15lbs 9oz at his 4 month appointment! He has found his feet and he's always trying to get them into his mouth!Love this pictures! Isn't he chubby!?!
This is how we get bundled up for our walks....It's still cold up here!
This is my Mom and Carson. I know Carson doesn't look too amused. He had a little rash so we had him naked......you have to keep those little boys covered though! They can squirt a long way!!
We are loving life!! Brandon just had his interview for his Masters program! SO...pray for us! We really want to get into BYU. Hope all is well!

We have had a foot of snow in the last week! It's been crazy, but my dogs LOVE it! The snow clumps to their fur, so after each walk we have to "de-frost" them with a warm bath:)He's getting so chunky, and I LOVE IT! He's sitting in his bumbo chair and he's holding his head up all by himself!
Carson is 3 months now! He's getting so big. It seems like he changes every day. He's giggling now and it has to be the cutest thing I have ever heard. Brandon gets way more giggles out of him than I do.
This is not staged! My dogs love to cuddle with Carson (especially if there are pillows and blankets).
This is the day that I had to go back to work. I love my job and I am so grateful that I have a good job, but it was so hard to leave him home. I'm just glad that I have such a good babysitter....Brandon! He took extra credits last semester so that he would only have class two days a week this semester. So he watches Carson while I work. He brings him to see me on my lunch break and that REALLY helps me get through the day.

Today Carson is 10 weeks old! We can't believe it. He is growing so fast. We just had his two month appointment and he now weighs 12 lbs 6 oz and he is 24 inches long! That means he has gained almost six pounds and grown 4 inches since he was born.... Crazy!

Does that look comfortable at all?? It must be because he slept like that for 3 hours! I love cuddling him! My puppies like to cuddle too.
Do I even need to say it?? I CAN'T PUT MY ARMS DOWN!!!
This is his 2 month picture. He is getting so cute! He loves to smile and he wants to laugh, so hopefully that comes soon. His Dad always gets more smiles out of him....I think he gets sick of me 'cause he spends the whole day with me.

Carson's Christmas jammies! This is his first time decorating the tree. He loved it! I don't know about that exactly, but he does love to look at the pretty lights. We just love our little boy! I don't think that life could get much better (except maybe if Brandon was done with school) :) Hope everybody has a Merry Christmas!

Carson is now 6 weeks old! I can't believe it. My sisters friend Rachel came to my house and took these pictures a couple of weeks ago! I love them! Carson is getting so cute! He's starting to smile and he's so much fun to play with. He loves to take baths and splash around. If I can figure it out I'll try to post the video of him splashing in the tub! Life I going great for Brandon and I! He is busy with school and I am loving being at home with Carson. I only have 6 weeks left of my maternity leave and I'm dreading going back to work!

Little Carson just keeps getting bigger! He has outgrown a couple of his newborn outfits now. It's crazy! We just had our first trip home to St. George. He did really good on the drive down!

Brandon was a farmer and we were his pumpkin patch!

We had so much fun dressing Carson up for Halloween! Brandon was sad that Carson couldn't go trick or treating and have candy yet. He wanted to "test" his candy.:)

Life is so good with a baby! At first I was really nervous about being home a lone with Carson. The first few weeks were rough, but I'm now starting to be able to get things done around the house and take care of Carson too. He's a really calm baby and he has made the transition as easy as possible on us! The dogs like Carson now! They even have "tummy time" with him.

This is his first experience with shoes. I realize that he should have pants on, but they are all toooo big! His legs look a mile long huh?!
We went up Hobble Creek Canyon to see all of the fall leaves. It was beautiful up there. Carson didn't enjoy the stroller as much as we had hoped he would but it was still nice to get out.

So, Carson is now 2 weeks old and we are loving having him in our family! We wish we were closer to home so we could see more of our family and friends! Only baby cracks are cute:)
This is our first entire family outing with the stroller. It was hectic, but lots of fun once we got going.

We love Carson! We just celebrated his week birthday!! He is such a sweet little baby! He sleeps so well. We have only had one night of screaming and the rest have been awesome! When he gets hungry he will suck on anything!!

So cute!!

My dogs really are depressed. My little dog Sam is so sad! I feel so bad for him! He feels so left out, but we really are trying to keep him included and give him lots of attention. Hope he snaps out of it because he really is making himself sick. He wont eat and he throws up every night.

Our little boy Carson John Taylor was born on October 5th at 7:26 PM. I went into the hospital to be induced at 6:30 AM. I'm not at all into pain, so I got an epidural when I started feeling the contractions and then we watched both sessions of conference! :) Thank heavens for epidurals!!

He is so so so cute! At least we think so! This is when he was a day old. He loves to have his hands by his face. He also loves to suck on his hands and fingers. We think that he has his dads lips and moms nose.
We had to introduce our "other children" to Carson. They were really interested in how he smelled and wanted to kiss him. We are going to try to give them all of their much needed attention still.
On Wednesday we gave Carson his first bath! We had so much fun with his little tub and his cute hooded towels! We are so happy to have him in our home! We love him so much already!!

Hello everyone! Sorry it's been so long since we have posted! We've had a lot going on lately! Brandon is really busy with school and work. I have been working a lot too! I only have three days left of work and then I'm off for my 12 weeks of maternity leave! I'm so excited! We finally finished the nursery on Saturday. It's now Brandon's "favorite room." Here are some pics of the nursery. We are due in 6 days, so our next post will be full of cute little Carson!

So! Only 7 and 1/2 weeks left and we decided that it's time we start working on the nursery. We (Brandon) put up the crib the a few nights ago!

We just got home from our annual vacation to Island Park Idaho. Brandon says that there is no place he would rather be. This is him fly fishing!

So! For our two year anniversary we wanted to do something really fun! We decided that we needed a vacation and we had better do it now because we wont be able to just head off on a long vacation with a baby! We decided on Hawaii and we had a blast! We spent 8 days in Oahu and stayed in Waikiki, but we had a rental car so we got to drive all over the island! Here are some fun pics!

We stopped at Turtle Beach and saw this guy soakin' up some sun!

This is our anniversary dinner! My sweet husband "researched" out the best place for us to spend too much money on food. It was called Dukes. It was right on Waikiki beach where we could see the ocean and watch the sun go down.

Our last day in Hawaii was spent at the temple. We were surprised how small it was inside, but we had a lot of fun doing temple work.

Our vacation was amazing! We enjoyed spending time together and forgetting about our hectic life at home!

Today was our ultrasound appointment and we found out that its a boy!!! We were both so excited! He is healthy and is right on track for the due date! It was so fun to finally see kind of what he looks like, and to see him moving! We know we probably think these pictures are way cuter than you will but we couldn't help putting them up for all to see! The first and 3rd pictures show his face! His nose is a little cut off but its as close to a 3D pic as they could get with the 2D image. The 2nd picture is his foot, you can see his toes! Pretty cute!

Hello from Springville! We haven't posted in a little while but a lot has been going on. Brandon is almost done with school, but is taking finals this week so he's extra busy studying. Work for me has been unusually slow but its been a nice break. The baby is growing and is now the size of an avocado. Weather has been getting better. We've had a few days in the 70's and you would have thought we hadn't seen the sun in months (we haven't). We went fishing and have taken the dogs on extra long walks. The dogs are keeping busy playing and chewing on things (baseboards, blinds, etc..) Hope everything is well with everyone!

Tonya couldn't wait to buy this headband (even though we don't know the gender yet) and decided to try it on the dogs (who are both boys by the way)

Hey everyone! Things are going really well for us! I am almost done with my 2nd semester at BYU and Tonya is doing a great job eating for two and working hard at the hospital. She hasn't felt sick at all so we feel grateful for that. We just had our 2nd appointment and got to hear the baby's heart beat which was really exciting!! Its finally warming up and the snow is finally gone! We can't wait for summer! We have been going to the park and even flew Tonya's Barbie Kite the other day, that she got for easter. Hope all is well for everyone!!
